Elizabeth is from the Red Lake Nation and Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico. She was raised in North Minneapolis/Brooklyn Center. Elizabeth has worked in South Minneapolis for the past 4 years at Division of Indian Work. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Native American Studies from the University of Minnesota, Morris, and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Counseling and Psychological Services at St. Mary’s University. Elizabeth is passionate about serving and uplifting the community, and thrives on creating supportive, compassionate connections with others. Elizabeth is also Doula and Indigenous Lactation Counselor through the Ninde program at Division of Indian Work. She is passionate about supporting families and the community. Her goal is to continue growing as a professional while making a positive difference in the lives of those she works with.
